Drunken Noodles with Shrimp
Noodles so good, it got me stumblin’ and actin’ like a fool. Maybe that’s the real story behind the name Drunken Noodles. Whatever the origin of the name, the stir-fried large rice noodle, chili paste and vegetables is so good, you’ll be going back for more. It hits the taste buds all in the right spot with a nice combination of spicy, savory and sweet.
Spring Roll Wrap over Vietnamese Egg Roll
If you’re like me and always want an egg roll and spring roll for your appetizer but sacrifice one over another to have room for your entree, Ha Long Bay has a solution for us. A spring roll wrapped over a Vietnamese egg roll. Do I need to repeat myself here? You should be running out your door and trying this right now. Such an obvious solution and very satisfying, I’m surprise I haven’t seen it done any where else in Madison. This is a creation that should be served at all Asian restaurants. It needs it’s own name, call it a “Spring Egg Roll,” and then call it a day.
Nem Khao Tod
Another amazing dish that you don’t find too often is the Nem Khao Tod. A delicious traditional dish made of crispy rice with minced sour sausage, chicken, onion, cilantro, mint, lime juice, topped with peanuts and served with lettuce. Ha Long Bay hits this right on the money. I love how many of the dishes on their menu stay true to Asian flavors, not dressed up or down for the market, just authentic.

Ha Long Bay has a large menu broken down by Thai, Vietnamese and Laotian, and brings a variety of flavors to dishes you may or may not know.
